- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast Brussels sprouts for 20-25 minutes, until caramelized and tender.
- In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Toast bread slices until golden brown.
- Top toasted bread with roasted Brussels sprouts, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
