Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, combine cranberries and sugar. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, oil, and egg.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in cranberry mixture and cheddar cheese.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
