Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

4 large eggs

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1 tbsp butter (for greasing the dish)
Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.

Prepare the casserole: Open the cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Place the pieces in the prepared baking dish, spreading them evenly.

Make the custard: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Pour over cinnamon rolls: Pour the custard mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish. Press the rolls down lightly to make sure they’re all soaked in the custard.

Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and set in the center.

Glaze: While the casserole is baking, open the icing packets that came with the cinnamon rolls. Once the casserole is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the icing over the top.

Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped pecans or walnuts if desired.
Notes
For extra sweetness, you can add a handful of chopped nuts (like pecans or walnuts) or raisins to the casserole before baking.If you don’t have the canned cinnamon rolls, you can use homemade cinnamon rolls for an even richer flavor.
