  • Author: Catalina
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These Honey Garlic Salmon Bites are a quick and flavorful way to enjoy salmon! The tender salmon pieces are glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, making them the perfect bite-sized treat. Garnished with sesame seeds and green onions, these bites are perfect for an appetizer or a light meal. They are simple to prepare, packed with flavor, and a healthy option for seafood lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon fillet (skinless)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Salmon:
    • Cut the skinless salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes (around 1-inch pieces).
  • Make the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.
  • Cook the Salmon:
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon pieces to the skillet. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
    • Cook the salmon for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. The salmon should be flaky and opaque in the center.
  • Glaze the Salmon:
    • Once the salmon is cooked, pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon pieces. Toss gently to coat the salmon in the sauce, allowing the sauce to thicken and caramelize slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve:
    • Transfer the glazed salmon bites to a serving plate and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the low-sodium soy sauce with regular soy sauce if you prefer a stronger flavor.
  • For a little extra heat, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or over rice to make it a complete meal.
