  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce or pasta sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • repare the Slow Cooker:
    • Lightly grease the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Layer the Ingredients:
    • Pour the marinara sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  • Add the Tortellini:
    • Add the cheese tortellini to the slow cooker, making sure it’s submerged in the sauce mixture.
  • Cook:
    • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1-1.5 hours, or until the tortellini is cooked through and tender.
