- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- repare the Slow Cooker:
- Lightly grease the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Layer the Ingredients:
- Pour the marinara sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
- Add the Tortellini:
- Add the cheese tortellini to the slow cooker, making sure it’s submerged in the sauce mixture.
- Cook:
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1-1.5 hours, or until the tortellini is cooked through and tender.
- Add the Cheese:
- Once the tortellini is done, stir in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Serve:
- Serve the cheesy tortellini hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
