- 1 package of croissant dough
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup almond paste
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sliced almonds for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangles.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, almond paste, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of the almond ricotta mixture at the wide end of each croissant triangle.
- Roll up the croissants, tucking in the edges to seal the filling inside.
- Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops of the croissants with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
