- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 hamburger buns, split
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink; drain.
- Stir in pizza sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Spoon beef mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Place hamburger bun halves, cut side down, on top of cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
Notes
- You can add pepperoni or other pizza toppings to the beef mixture for extra flavor.
- For a crispier top, you can broil for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end of baking.
