These cheesecake croissant buns are a perfect combination of flaky crescent dough and creamy cheesecake filling. Topped with a sweet glaze and optional sliced almonds, they make a delicious breakfast or dessert that’s quick and easy to prepare!

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  • Spread a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm croissant buns and sprinkle with sliced almonds if desired.

Notes

  • These buns are best enjoyed warm, but can also be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
