These cheesecake croissant buns are a perfect combination of flaky crescent dough and creamy cheesecake filling. Topped with a sweet glaze and optional sliced almonds, they make a delicious breakfast or dessert that’s quick and easy to prepare!

- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Spread a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm croissant buns and sprinkle with sliced almonds if desired.

Notes
- These buns are best enjoyed warm, but can also be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- For added flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the cream cheese mixture.
