Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, coffee, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (180°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove doughnuts from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Optional: Dust with powdered sugar or dip in melted chocolate for added sweetness.
