Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownie mix, prepared according to package instructions
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 12 oz chocolate candy coating

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Cookie Dough: In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Gradually stir in flour and salt. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Form Cookie Dough Balls: Roll cookie dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Prepare Brownies: Prepare the brownies according to the package instructions. Once baked, cut them into small squares and flatten each square with your hands.
  • Assemble Brownie Bombs: Place a frozen cookie dough ball in the center of each flattened brownie square. Gently wrap the brownie around the cookie dough, forming a ball.
  • Coat with Chocolate: Melt the chocolate candy coating according to the package instructions. Dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
  • Set and Enjoy: Place the coated brownie bombs back on the baking sheet to set. Once the chocolate has hardened, they’re ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, feel free to add a pinch of sea salt on top of each brownie bomb before the chocolate coating sets.
  • If you prefer a thicker coating of chocolate, you can dip the brownie bombs a second time after the first layer has hardened.
