Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, softened butter, and egg until the mixture is well combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool.
- In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.
- Dip each cookie halfway into the chocolate mixture and place on a wire rack to set.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cookies before serving.
Notes
- For an extra flavor boost, try adding a splash of vanilla extract to the dough.
- If you prefer, you can drizzle the chocolate over the cookies instead of dipping them for a more decorative presentation.
