Description

These delightful cookies capture the flavor of a Boston cream pie with a rich chocolate glaze and a light, buttery cookie base. Easy to make and even easier to devour, they’re the perfect dessert for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, softened butter, and egg until the mixture is well combined.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool.
  • In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.
  • Dip each cookie halfway into the chocolate mixture and place on a wire rack to set.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cookies before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, try adding a splash of vanilla extract to the dough.
  • If you prefer, you can drizzle the chocolate over the cookies instead of dipping them for a more decorative presentation.
