Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Beat in flour, cocoa, and salt until well combined. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  • Drop peanut butter by spoonfuls onto the batter. Swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a thicker peanut butter swirl, you can add extra peanut butter.
