- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Beat in flour, cocoa, and salt until well combined. Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Drop peanut butter by spoonfuls onto the batter. Swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a thicker peanut butter swirl, you can add extra peanut butter.
- You can substitute crunchy peanut butter for a bit of texture if desired.
