- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz) container Cool Whip
- 2 (3.9 oz) packages chocolate instant pudding
- 3 cups milk
- Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter together. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip. Spread over the graham cracker crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk. Pour over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set before serving.
Notes
- For an extra rich flavor, you can add a layer of chopped chocolate or chocolate chips between the cream cheese and pudding layers.
- You can substitute homemade whipped cream for Cool Whip if preferred.
