- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
- Scoop a tablespoon of dough, flatten it in your palm, place a small amount of Nutella in the center, then fold the dough around the Nutella, forming a ball.
- Place cookie dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are set.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra gooey cookies, underbake by 1-2 minutes and allow the cookies to set on the baking sheet before transferring.
- Make sure to fully seal the Nutella inside the dough to avoid leaks while baking.
