- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Whipped cream and chocolate shavings, for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped semisweet chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Stir in the caramel sauce and sea salt until well combined.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into individual serving cups or bowls.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the mousse to set.
- Once ready to serve, garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
Notes
- You can use store-bought caramel sauce, or make your own for an extra homemade touch.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semisweet.
