Instructions

  • Prepare the oven and pan:

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Make the cheesecake layer:

    • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy.

    • Add the whisked egg and vanilla extract, then beat again until fully combined. Set aside.

  • Make the brownie layer:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and kosher salt.

    • In a separate bowl, whisk the granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, red gel food coloring, oil, melted butter, and vinegar until smooth and well-combined.

    • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until the batter is smooth.

  • Assemble the brownies:
