- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the dark chocolate chips over low heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Slowly add the melted chocolate to the ricotta mixture and stir until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate ricotta mixture.
- Spoon the mousse into parfait glasses, alternating layers with chopped hazelnuts.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- You can use any type of nuts in place of hazelnuts, like almonds or walnuts, if preferred.
- For a sweeter dessert, you can add more sugar to the ricotta mixture.
