Description

Rose Milk is a fragrant and refreshing drink that combines the sweetness of rose syrup with the creaminess of milk. Popular in many South Asian countries, it’s the perfect beverage to cool down on a hot day or to enjoy as a sweet treat. With its delicate floral flavor, it’s both soothing and satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cold milk (whole milk or any plant-based milk)
  • 23 tablespoons rose syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, depending on the sweetness of the syrup)
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Crushed pistachios or almonds (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Pour the cold milk into a glass or mixing jug.
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of rose syrup (adjust to your desired sweetness and intensity of flavor).
  • Stir the mixture until the rose syrup is fully dissolved and the milk is pink.
  • Taste and add sugar if additional sweetness is desired. Stir to combine.
  • Optional: Add ice cubes to chill the drink if you prefer it cold.
  • Pour into a serving glass and garnish with crushed pistachios or almonds if using.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you want a thicker consistency, use full-fat milk or a creamy plant-based alternative like coconut milk.
  • You can adjust the amount of rose syrup to your preference – more syrup will give a stronger rose flavor.
  • Rose Milk can also be served chilled or blended with ice for a slushier texture.
