Ingredients
Scale
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the French bread into 1-inch slices without cutting all the way through, leaving the loaf intact at the bottom.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley.
- Using a spoon or brush, drizzle the butter mixture generously between the slices of bread.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until the bread is warm and the cheese is melted.
- Unwrap the bread and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the top to become golden and slightly crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!
Notes
- You can use other types of cheese like cheddar or provolone for different flavors.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or a bit of hot sauce to the butter mixture.
- This bread is best served immediately while the cheese is still melted and gooey.
