Indulge in this creamy, flavorful Cajun Chicken Pasta! The perfect balance of zesty Cajun spices, tender chicken, and rich, creamy sauce make this dish irresistible. It’s a perfect weeknight dinner that’s both quick and satisfying, with vibrant bell peppers and a delicious kick of flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot!

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk for a lighter version, though the sauce will be less rich.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables such as mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
