Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz (225 g) Tortilla Chips
- 2 cups (200 g) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup (100 g) Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1 cup (150 g) Diced Tomatoes
- ½ cup (75 g) Sliced Jalapeños
- ½ cup (75 g) Diced Onions
- 1 lb (450 g) Cooked Ground Beef
- 1 cup (240 ml) Nacho Sauce or Salsa
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Beef: In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Layer the Nachos: On a large baking sheet, spread out a layer of tortilla chips. Top with half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, followed by the cooked ground beef, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and sliced jalapeños. Add another layer of tortilla chips and repeat the toppings.
- Melt the Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and drizzle with nacho sauce or salsa. Serve immediately, garnished with additional toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, or cilantro if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to swap out ground beef for chicken, turkey, or a plant-based meat alternative for a different variation.
- For a spicier version, add more jalapeños or drizzle the nachos with hot sauce before serving.
- Customize your nachos with additional toppings like olives, black beans, or corn.
