Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate:
    • In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer, but not boil.
    • Add the chopped chocolate (or chocolate chips) to the cream and stir continuously until smooth and fully melted.
  • Add Flavorings:
    • If desired, stir in vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and your choice of liqueur (Baileys, Kahlúa, or rum) for extra flavor. Mix well to combine.
  • Serve:
    • Transfer the melted chocolate mixture to a fondue pot or a heatproof serving bowl. Keep it warm with a tea light or candle if using a fondue pot.

Notes
