- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your favorite pizza toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, olive oil, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a pizza crust on a floured surface.
- Transfer the crusts to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce and add your favorite toppings.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Slice and serve!

- For a crispier crust, use a pizza stone or preheat your baking sheet before adding the dough.
- Feel free to customize the toppings with whatever you like, such as mushrooms, olives, or sausage.
