  • Author: Catalina
  • Total Time: 4 hours
  • Yield: 6-8 servings 1x

Description

This Homemade Peach Ice Cream is the perfect summer treat! With fresh, juicy peaches and a creamy base, this ice cream is rich, smooth, and packed with the sweet flavor of ripe peaches. Ideal for a refreshing dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the peaches and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the peaches are soft, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until light and fluffy. Gradually whisk in the cream, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the cooled peach mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Once the ice cream is frozen, transfer it to a container and freeze for an additional 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For extra texture, you can reserve a few peach chunks to stir into the ice cream after it has finished churning.
  • You can substitute fresh peaches with frozen peaches if needed, but fresh peaches will provide the best flavor.
