Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
  3. Stir in the dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded gruyere cheese over the top and cover until melted.
